‘Susie’s Roses’ has been inspired by my favourite flower - yellow roses.
This is a button shaped hat made with a buckram base that has been covered with dark green Harris Tweed. The hat is trimmed with yellow roses and green leaves which have been created from stiffened fish leather. It is lined with black, Paisley pattern satin.
It secures to the head with black hat elastic that goes at the back of your head and tucks under your hair with at the nape of your neck.
‘Susie’s Roses’ is designed to be worn at a slight angle with the roses on the left hand side of the head.
The diameter of the hat is 6” (15 cm).
