FASCINATOR MAKING PARTIES AND WORKSHOPS

Are you a group of friends who love taking creative workshops together? Perhaps you’re planning a trip to Ladies Day at the races and want to make your own fascinators to wear.

Are you a bride to be looking for something different to do for your hen party?

Are you organising a corporate event and would like to include a creative element to the day?

These 3 hour workshops could be perfect for you.

With a choice of 3 workshops to choose from:

• creating with crin

• sensational sinamay

• fabulous feathers

Susie will come to your venue bringing with her everything needed to make your fascinators and over a fun 3 hours show you how to make your own piece of marvelous millinery.

Cost: £35 per person for a maximum of 12 participants. Includes all materials needed for your chosen workshop and 3 hours of tuition.

introduction to millinery course

Run in conjunction with Gartmore House - Arts and Crafts Holidays, this course is perfect for complete beginners to millinery. Join Susie in her world of magnificent hats and fabulous fascinators on an Adventure in Millinery and learn to make a hat or headpiece of your own.

Over the 4 days of the course you will :

• learn how to block a hat using sinamay

• learn how to wire and trim the edge using bias strips

• learn how to make sinamay flowers, leaves and loops to trim your headpiece

• learn how to make feather mounts

• learn how to secure your headpiece with hat elastic, combs and hairbands

Cost from £985 per person and includes 4 days of millinery tuition, materials, 5 nights accommodation, all meals

2026 Dates: 19th - 24th July; 13th - 18th September; 11th - 16th October

2027 Dates: 18th - 23rd July; 12th - 17th September; 10th - 15th October
