‘Pretty in Spike’ is part of my ‘Signature Spike the Hat’ collection and has been named after the song that was running through my head while I was making her.

This version of ‘Spike the Hat’ is a bandeau shape and is made from a cerise pink sinamay, overlaid with gold veiling and over 200 gold acrylic spikes that have been handstitched on to the hat.

The hat is lined with cerise satin. It is secured to the head with a metal headband that is covered in the same colour of sinamay as the hat. It is designed to be worn as a hairband style towards the front of the head. At it’s widest point the bandeau is approximately 9cm (3.5”) wide
