Spike the Thistle is part of my ‘Signature Spike’ collection and is a celebration of the national flower of Scotland in the form of a ‘Spike the Hat’

This version of ‘Spike the Hat’ is a round, button shape and is made from purple sinamay, overlaid with silver veiling and over 250 acrylic silver spikes which have been handstitched onto the hat.

The hat is lined with purple satin. It is secured to the head using hat elastic and is designed to be worn at a slight angle

The diameter of the hat is approximately 6” (15 cm)
